KY6R “Post DXCC” Station

I’m back to the Elecraft K-Line, plus the DX Engineering NCC-2 and phased Wellbrook ALA1530LNP Imperium loops for receive.

My 20M yagi has been replaced by this Cushcraft D40 rotatable dipole.

I will do extensive A – B testing against the DX Engineering DV-40-P phased vertical array, especially with ZS6CCY.

The Inverted L that has a special home brewed UNUN / Balun base switching arrangement gives me a great signal on 160, 80 and 30M.

I just hit 100 on 160M and 9BDXCC (although I expect a couple might be hard to get a QSL or LOTW credit – so I will crow big time when I have the LOTW credits at 100 and when I get that little 160 / 9BDXCC endorsement plate/ I only have 2 more for Top of Honor Roll – so I’m pretty much done. I just love 160 and 40M, and have recently found that 80M is a decent band. 30M is a band I like when it plays like 40M.

Call me “Low Band Man” . . .
