Now that I am done with my big 17 years of DXCC awards chasing, I’m ready to settle into a nice cozy shack and antenna farm. Its very respectable, but no amplifiers and no large towers or huge yagi’s. After years with the “Porsche 911 of DX-ing” (the Elecraft K-Line), I’m settling on the Icom IC-7610 – its only been on for a half a day, but like the UrbanBeam, it really seems like I made the right choice.
I am loving my US Towers ALM-31 and SteppIR UrbanBeam.
The 60′ 80M vertical with my base switching rocks:
And my 40M DX Engineering DV-40-P is as always – way better than ever expected:
A nice little station – the most “versatile” that I have had, and a nice replacement for my (beloved) Elecraft K-Line.
The pair of phased Wellbrook ALA1530LNP rounds out the mini antenna farm here.
