Red Hot 40 QRP Rig

A new vernier knob for the Red Hot 40 . . .

I recently purchased a Red Hot 40 from a ham who did a really nice job building it. I had been assuming it was just a higher power version of the NorCal 40A, but man, I was wrong . . .

Its a more advanced 40M rig – that shares some similarities, but then ups the ante

I look forward to using this rig – it might supplant the NorCal 40A. It runs 5 watts instead of 2.5 watts. I will have to do a receiver A – B compare one of these days.
