OHR WM-2: Almost Ready

Oak Hills Research WM-2 QRP Wattmeter

Tomorrow I will calibrate and if all goes well, check the output power on the NorCal40A and Red Hot 40 QRP rigs I have.

This was a fun kit to build, and I took my time and was very careful to check and recheck each step.

It’s pretty cool to have 700 watts with the KWS-1 and then 5 watts or less with my QRP rigs. Both offer something unique and interesting in the Ham Radio hobby.

I really love my IC-7300, but I have to say it’s a just “turn it on” rig. These other rigs have a lot more character.
