K7TRI: And Then There Were Three

THIS is the most exciting DXpedition for me in years!

Yes, Bouvet is the BIG BIG deal – but its pretty cool that with 5 watts – and knowing how rare NA-211 is – that I’ve worked them on 40, 30 an 20M – with my UrbanBeam.

Sure – if I were to try to work 3Y0I – I’d have a full gallon, but its quite a surprise that the Oregon Coast has me as jacked up as most DXCC entity DXpeditions of yore. I guess I now realize how “jaded” I had gotten regarding DXing and thinking that the only thing that mattered was DXCC and its awards. That is (was) just plain silly thinking.

Fun is fun – no matter how you slice it!
