Rust Never Sleeps

Rust Never Sleeps

When I stepped outside yesterday morning, the bright, crisp and clear sunshine reminded me how beautiful Winter can be – even without snow or freezing cold weather. I think the high was in the low 50’s – so it was cool enough to feel like a California Winter day.

The last of the Fall colors are now on the ground

It was fun to be in almost a foot of snow for Thanksgiving week. I have to admit enjoying being back where I can ride my bike to BART every day – the snow is great as long as you don’t have to drive to work in it. I don’t miss that from my youth.

I’ve been in California 38 years, and for all of the States challenges, its still a great place to be. I’ve had a fantastic career which I still love after all these years, great kids and wife – so I have plenty to be thankful for.

In just over 2 weeks it will be 2020 – my – how time marches on!
