Two Phased KY6R 40M Optimized Loops = 11.6 RDF!

Two KY6R Optimized Loops separated 100′ – an RDF of 11.6 and more gain

Looking at EZNec, there is a very compelling reason to go with two KY6R loops for 40M. In fact, I also modeled the W6LVP loop with one KY6R Loop – and it pales in comparison.

So, the plan will be to put up a second KY6R Loop – but it will be fixed running NE – SW and I will set it up so it can easily be switched in the NE or SW direction (manually). I probably don’t have to build another frame – but I might because it does make it easy to put up and move around.
